I saw this poster when Steph and I were walking around the mall the other day.
It made me kind of angry, and kind of ashamed of my country…

I hear you man. Juxtaposed against my last post (on the national debt) this is just really sad.
What a bad example our nation is giving this generation.

I don’t go to the mall often, but when I do, sometimes I feel nauseous. Shane Claiborne ruined me as an American.

I thought it was very funny. I’m an ad person (that was my degree) and i thought the ad was great. The message behind it not so great. However, i represent the retailers who are getting a hit financially because of the economy. I am a store manager of a store in the mall and just as you may be sick to walk in the mall, its sick to work there and see how down (percentage to LY sales) everyone’s stores are.
Zack so good to hear from you bud! Hope your doing well. Glad we can keep up with you through blogs.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
And thanks for the perspective, Dannielle!
I confess that I definitely didn’t consider things from your perspective at all…
I guess someone worked really hard with the goal of helping people who make their living through that mall pay their bills…
