One of the things that helps me pass the time during my work day is listening to music.
I listen to a *lot* of music throughout the week, and it ranges from all over the spectrum.
Every once in a while an old favorite will come up on shuffle and get me to thinking.
Today it was “Split Screen Sadness” by John Mayer.
There’s a line where he says,
I can’t wait to figure out what’s wrong with me
‘Cause then I can say “This is the way that I used to be.”
Very witty and thought-provoking to me. I wish I could come up with stuff like that.
Leeland’s Opposite Way CD has all the songs in opposite order on the back. Song #1 is the last track. Very cool.
I like all the words from Stained Glass Masquerade (by Casting Crowns).
“Is there anyone that fails, is there anyone that falls? Am I the only one in church today feeling so small?”
Missed seeing you lately bro..
I love that about the Leeland CD… Now that I download everything from Amazon and iTunes I miss out on stuff like that!
Did you catch the Casting Crowns video we posted on the youth blog?
