I always knew you were smart, Zack!=] It's nice to hear that someone DOESNT go with the flow and "do the popular thing." Reading that makes me sick. I have a feeling Obama is hiding a lot more that just his views on abortion. He is definately not a good man(I toned it down a bit for you=])

Yes... that's it!
"This isn’t about whether the next president is going to overturn Roe v. Wade. He couldn’t if he wanted to because that’s the job of the supreme court. That’s not what this is about at all…
This is about whether the next president of the US is going to be a man who says that selfishness that leads all the way to murder is acceptible and should be welcomed, or a president that believes in the sanctity of human life."
Like Tabi, I wasn't thrilled with McCain. I wasn't even sure I was going to vote. But that's it. I'm voting!

Thanks for the thoughts everyone!

I feel like I should clarify something, having re-read what I wrote at 5:30 this morning...

It has occurred to me recently through experience that some people hear "I am against legalized abortion" and interpret it to mean "I am against anyone who has ever had or considered an abortion."

I want to be clear that I consider abortion to be sin, but no more or less serious than my own sin. On a scale, my junk is just as heavy and stinky as someone who has had an abortion (or 4). According to Jesus' definition, I have committed adultery and murder...

If your sin is covered by the blood of Christ, then it's all completely covered.

And if it isn't, then none of it is, and I don't judge you for that, because I've been in your shoes, and the only thing that changed me was God's grace.

This is about whether abortion should our country's policy... whether it should be the acceptable way to deal with unexpected or unwanted pregnancy.

And lest you have any doubts, there is absolutely nothing hypocritical about choosing to support life now even though you made mistakes in the past...

I honestly think this is a battle in the heavenlies. I think we (or at least I) can forget that. I've been around awhile now and I'm amazed at how many really smart people have chosen (or allowed themselves to be) deceived. Do I think we have a "wonderful" choice of candidates? No, I don't. There are a lot of things on which I disagree with John McCain's position. Unfortunately, Barak Obama is a socialist who supports the death of the innocent. Regardless of other policies, I can't support that. I would encourage voters who say they belong to Christ to really pray about their vote before they head out to the polls. If you seek the Lord with an open heart, ready to accept whatever He says and He tells you vote Obama, then I surely won't fault you. I certainly would not want to cast a vote in this day and age without having guidance from my Savior. What looks good to the world is often not what looks good to God.

Right on the money man! I heard someone on the radio last night say we need to get past issues like abortion so we could focus on "more important" issues like the economy and foreign policy. The response he received:

"What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?" Mark 8:36

I thought that put a lot of things in the correct perspective.

You have only a few days to give your insight on the "redistribution of wealth". Lets not leave out that Ba-rockstar/dictator said "I wouldn't want my daughters punished for a "mistake" they might make." Dear Lord, he is talking about his OWN grandkids. The bible tells us even the elect will be deceived in Mar 13:;22....others 1 Cr 3:18, Eph 5:6, Col 2:4, 2 Th 2:3, 1 John 1:6 and 1 John 2:26. My hope is in Him. Keep up the informative work Zack! Praying for you!
