We spent Thursday – Saturday at my parents. It was our first Thanksgiving with them since getting married. Last year we did Thanksiving with the Rosado folks and Christmas with the Riesland folks, so we’re doing it the other way around this year.
We had a great time catching up and even got a little bit of rest, but the best part was seeing Josiah hang out with his grandma and grandpa.
Towards the middle of dinner on Thanksgiving night, I noticed that my dad had disappeared. I also noticed that Josiah’s room was unusually quiet.
I got up and snuck around the corner and this is what I saw:

oh my word, I don’t know if it’s because i’m preg or we don’t have any grandparents around Lael, but I almost started crying at this picture. What an amazing love grandpas have!
