We took a lot of photos over the past week. Hopefully Stephanie will tell you what’s up with all of them, but you can take a look here.
A couple weeks ago, Steph and I went to upstate NY for Ellen and Pete’s wedding. We stayed a couple of extra days at the 1712 House, which is an awesome bed and breakfast on about a hundred acres of the most beautiful land I’ve ever seen. We took lots and lots… and lots of photos.
558 to be exact.
We put a couple dozen of our favorites at http://photos.therieslands.com. Here is a little sampling…
I call this my ‘Joshua Tree’ pose
That’s my wife. She’s stinking hot…
Eve? Anyone?
I began working on this video almost as soon as I came home from Central Asia. I was new to macs and new to the iMovie software, and this was a fun experiment.
I got to where it was like 80% finished, and then I just ran out of time, and I let it sit, hoping to come back to it. But now that it’s over a year later, I might as well share it with you as it is. I hope to make a much higher quality version in the future.
Please pray for this part of the world, and folks who you see in it:
Steph and I met face-to-face for the first time on July 4th, 2006.
This year, we re-lived our evening by returning back up to Gloucester and heading out on the Dayspring (named for Luke 1:78). It was an awesome evening — except for getting home at like 2 in the morning.
You found the blog home of two big kids (that would be the parents) and four little ones.
This blog has changed quite a bit over the years. There was a time that I posted almost every morning as part of my routine. But that was several kids and several years ago.
These days, the posts are a lot more rare, but hopefully more substantial. And all those posts from the past are still here in the archives.
Feel free to have a look around...
