My job is to help design and implement enhancements to a 15-year-old code base that runs at almost  30,000 sites across the country and processes almost half a billion dollars every day. On a regular basis, I work in Java, C, C++, VB, C#, SQL, JAXB, VB, and XML. My job requires me to setup complicated test and debug scenarios using multiple computers, virtual machines, and emulators, and requires the ability to fix, enhance, and re-adapt a legacy system by navigating through several thousand lines of legacy code.
