The weather has (finally) been getting a lot nicer around here.

The sun and wind today have made me think of a trip we took to the beach last summer, so I was looking through the photos from that weekend.

I came across this one got to playing with photoshop while I was waiting for an email, so I decided to post it real quick.

Steph and I snuck away to Wrightsville Beach for the weekend to celebrate her birthday. We took a ton of pictures and had a great time. Here is the first batch:

I’m so blessed to have a wife who takes *amazing* pictures, and my whole world is decked out with them. They’re on my phone, my cube, by walls, and my computer. This has been my background recently… and I’m proud to be able to claim that I took it :0)

Anniversary Trip Followup

Well, it’s been over a week since we took our trip to Cape Hatteras… and over a week since there was an update around here, but we finally have some photos up for you.

There were so many awesome photos from the trip that even after we narrowed them down, there were still like 150 worth posting. You can see all of those here. But if that sounds overwhelming, here are a few of my favorites from day 1. I’ll post some more tomorrow or the next day.

And maybe, if enough of you harass her, you can get Steph to write a little something about our trip ;0)
